What lesson lengths do you offer?
We offer 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute weekly private lessons. For young beginners (ages 5–7), 30 minutes is typically ideal. As students advance, longer lessons allow for deeper work on technique, theory, and repertoire. Your teacher will advise on the right length as your child grows.
Do you offer online/virtual lessons?
Yes — virtual lessons are a permanent part of what we offer, available via Zoom, FaceTime, Google Meet, or Skype. Many families love the convenience, and our teachers are fully experienced with online instruction. Same expert teachers, same curriculum, just from home. Virtual lessons are available year-round.
What happens if my child misses a lesson?
During the fall and spring semesters, we allow up to two cancellations and two make-up lessons per semester. Make-up lessons must be taken within the same semester — they cannot carry over. We ask for 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation. Please see our full semester policies for details.
What are your studio hours?
We offer lessons on weekdays and weekends. Exact availability depends on teacher schedules. The studio does not keep set open hours — it is open for scheduled lessons only. Students should arrive no more than 5 minutes before their lesson and be picked up no more than 5 minutes after.
Do you offer in-home lessons?
Yes, in-home lessons are available on a limited basis, depending on teacher availability and scheduling. There is an additional fee for in-home instruction. Contact us to find out if in-home lessons are available for your area and preferred instrument.
What happens during school breaks and holidays?
During our fall and spring semesters, the only holidays we close for are Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If your lesson falls on any other holiday and you choose not to attend (with 24 hours’ notice), it will count as one of your two permitted cancellations. Summer programs run on a separate flexible schedule.
